(New 2018 update includes Dr. Hannah's Neuropathy Fix Protocol but NOTE that this is not in USED books, only NEW books. A free eBook version is available at the author's web site.) By the co-author of the popular book "How Statin Drugs Really Lower Cholesterol (And Kill You One Cell at a Time)" Here is PROOF that Sjogren's is caused by fungal toxins like statin drugs and other fungal-like toxins from H. pylori infection. To accept this evidence requires the courage to disagree with conventional thinking about Sjogren's. The other choice is to curse the messenger or accept the old paradigms that do not cure. Many drugs derived from fungal toxins (mycotoxins), like statins, are clearly linked to Sjogren's Syndrome. If autoimmune illnesses like Sjogren's and Lupus are caused by toxin-making infections inside cells, then anti-malarial antibiotics like Plaquenil should have some positive effect (as malaria infects the inside of cells) -- and do! On the other hand, in the face of real infection, drugs to suppress the immune system are like shutting off the water supply used by firemen trying to put out a complex fire. This also violates the medical ethic "First, do no harm". This book is not a recounting of available conventional treatment driven by for-profit drug companies but is, rather, a whole new convention. For those who truly want health restored rather than the current downward spiral, they will find the strength to change their minds -- one of the most difficult things for anyone to do once a mainstream mindset is made on a matter. Dr. Yoseph explains how Sjogren's is not a diagnosis but a description, and without a proper diagnosis there can be no remedy. Toxic drugs to suppress painful symptoms are the best that modern medicine can offer in its current system of belief. Here, layers of evidence are provided to unlock the so-called mystery of Sjogren's. Be ready to open your eyes (some will not because they can not change their minds), as remedy is made straightforward when the axe is taken to the root of the tree. The Sjogren's protocols herein, nevertheless, will not be supported by your physician or your mother as Dr. Hannah Yoseph clearly contradicts the "experts" who sometimes challenge her "credentials" (retired general physician) rather than investigate the evidence she has gathered from the public record and practice. In this book she explores Sjogren's at the causal level and again consolidates the science from all over the world deadly fungal toxins cause Sjogren's. Hannah Yoseph explores the lost science and offers a chance for the suffering and weary. It is a must read for the patient, family and friends. In beautiful concise and simple prose she points the way for patients and researchers alike. It is time for medicine to return to its roots the art and science of healing without harm rather than promoting drug company interests to "treat" a so-called incurable disease forever rather than cure. Dare to dump the acid-making soft drinks, dare to be well, stump your physician and stomp out Sjögren's – for life!

I must confess, I was inspired to write this review because the author is attacked on occasion, especially in forums which I read. The thing about Sjogren's, though, is that it, along with all the other autoimmune problems out there, isn't well understood, doesn't occur in people for just one reason, and doesn't lead to the exact same set of symptoms and severities in each person. So Sjogren's can't be placed in the one-size-fits-all format that mainstream medicine prefers. I have had primary Sjogren's for 25-ish years and have mostly managed it holistically -- I started on the plaquenil, etc. when I was first diagnosed, and eventually took armloads of prescription medicines with me for an 18-month sojourn to Japan. While in Japan, I ate an almost exclusively Japanese diet which, save for the white rice, is pretty healthful and loaded with fatty fish, and I noticed that a lot of my symptoms improved, to the point that I threw away all the pills and never looked back. While those prescriptions work for some people, they don't for others, and while this book may not work for some people, it will for others. I bought the book because my eye symptoms took a sudden and big turn for the worse last spring after pretty good management for years and years. Why? Who knows -- maybe aging, maybe anything. I returned to mainstream medicine in the form of Restasis, but it didn't seem to be doing much at all, same as when I first used it years ago. Then I bought this book and started experimenting with her recommendations, and I started feeling better within a few weeks. I could feel some moisture return to my eyes, the photosensitivity declined, my energy levels improved, and so on. Do I expect to be cured? No. Do I expect to feel better and give my body a chance to re-align itself in my favor? Yes. Personally, I think the acidity/alkalinity argument makes a lot of sense in terms of what helpful/harmful things can thrive or die in your system. And maybe this book's recommendations are helpful in my case b/c I did have a bout with ulcers earlier in my life, and the author is big on the h. pylori problem. I can't say. What I can say is that the book has helped me -- I was truly miserable for several months and now I am functional again, and continuing to improve. If it doesn't last forever, I won't decide the book is rubbish. I will just start looking for some newer ideas based on both mainstream and alternative medicine, trying to find the combination that works best for me. If you are suffering from Sjogren's, for a few bucks you can try the suggestions in this book. The worst that will happen is that you won't see any improvement in your symptoms, but you may get some ideas out of it nonetheless.

Sjogren Syndrome Cause and Recovery in Ten Simple Steps Hannah Yoseph 9780988820623 Books Reviews
This self published book likely contains some good information, but it is so poorly written that is actually painful to get through. I'm a scientist and the vocabulary isn't a problem. Grammar and organization is. Please, Dr. Yoseph, do yourself a favor and hire a good editor for a second edition.
I didn’t find this book useful. It is mainly about how statins killed her husband. At 65 i do not have cholesterol issues. I don’t drink soft drinks. I stopped that in the eighties. I’ve always eaten a well balanced diet mainly vgertarian. My basic metabolic panels have always been normal and still are. I was hoping to find more information about SS but I didn’t. My Dr. referred me to a neurologist because i started having symptoms of neuropathy. I was diagnosed in August 2018. I have brain fog most days as well as fatigue joint and muscle pain, dry eyes and mouth, thrush and headaches, The copies of the research this author presents are not readable. So i can not verify what she is saying. In my opinion don’t waste your money unless you’re looking for a book that is about statins.
Someone finally gives some real advice on how to stay well or how to cope with this insidious disease. The write is a medical trained doctor. Not all medicine cures you. In fact, many of my friends with Sjogren's who took some of the pharmaceutical "cures" from their physicians are dead. You are what you eat. And you are what medicines you put in your body. Side effects are sometimes worse than the disease. Thankfully this book helps with other ways to work on this autoimmune disease. Common sense, good foods and rest are some solutions. This book should be on every Sjogren's person's book shelf and should be read.
Hi Hannah,
I don't know if you remember me, but I had some e-mail correspondence with you back in October of 2013. I bought and read your book "Sjogren's Syndrome the Cause and the Cure in 10 Simple Steps". You were very helpful to me in figuring out some solutions to all the medical problems I was having, for which I was thankful. I tried your protocol, but to be honest I was not real keen on it because of the amount of supplements involved. I stayed on the program for about 2 months and did not notice any improvements so at that point I moved on to another approach which was basically a low carb diet along with various anti-fungal medicines/herbs. The anti candida diet worked pretty well for about 9 months but then my symptoms started to come back and get worse.
Around December of last year I was contacted by e-mail by a girl whom I had corresponded with in the past (you gave me her contact info as a reference) and she informed me that she was largely completely recovered from Sjogren's and was participating in Muay Thai Kickboxing which really blew my mind since I know how Sjogren's can affect the joints. She told me that it took her 9 months before her joint pain had diminished enough to do kick Boxing and she urged me to give your protocol another try and give it more time.
So in December of 2014 I started your protocol again, but I only did part of it. I did the collagen supplements and the alkalizing supplements (Calcium, magnesium). I also added in L-Glutamine and Zinc Carnosine. Well its been 6 months now and I want to tell you I feel incredibly good. Most of my pain is gone, I am fully participating in sports again, I went from sleeping 12 hours a day to 7 hours a day. I am off Plaquenil, off Mobic, off Evoxac, off anti-depressants, off sleep aids, off everything except for my thyroid pills, and i feel almost 100% at this point.
I want to apologize for not following through the first time, but i want to tell you that you have helped me tremendously. I think you are years ahead of other doctors in your knowledge of how to heal the body. You have made a believer out of me. Please feel free to use me as a reference if you ever need one. God Bless you Hannah. You have given me my life back.
